LAGNES climbs up the hillside from the foot of the Pieï rock. The village is looked over by the XIII° century castle (rebuilt in the XVI° and XVII°) which gives the village a very Medieval atmosphere. Don't forget to climb up to the summit of the village because there are magnificent panoramic views over the whole Luberon region, to the Alpilles and with a bit of luck on a clear day you will glimpse the Cévennes.
